Vishnu Mahmud Ogilvy & Mather

A former Googler, Vishnu joined Ogilvy In January 2014 as Business Development Director for Ogilvy Public Relations, with responsibility for public relations clients across all sectors. He is also the in-house crisis communications specialist, providing training for both media relations, communications and crisis management to key clients in a variety of industry sectors. A classically trained hotelier, Vishnu began his career at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts with postings in Bali and Newport Beach, California. After a stint in a hospitality tech company and a local portal during the first dot-com boom, Vishnu started his Public Relations career in 2002 at IndoPacific (now Edelman) with experience in issue and crisis management and particular expertise in the technology, corporate and consumer sectors.

A keen writer and tech geek, he was also a long time tech contributor to Indonesia’s first English-language newspaper The Jakarta Post as well as the Linux columnist for PC Magazine Indonesia. He has extensive experience with activation and 360 brand marketing, as well as an exceptional local and regional media network. Vishnu has managed numerous top brands such as Ford, Intel, Nike, Apple, Yahoo!, Google and Twitter as well as helping introduce various new businesses into the Indonesian market. He is also a marketing mentor at the 1000 Indonesian Digital Startup movement endorsed by the Ministry of Communications & Information Indonesia. Vishnu holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Australia and is a keen photographer.

Kurniawan is an experienced professional with 14 years in Retail, FMCG as well as Digital & Internet Marketing. Before joining Google in 2012, he was one of the key account managers at Johnson & Johnson, followed by a a stint at Danone. Considered a business leader in consumer products, he combines the offline aspects of business with online business seamlessly in his everyday work. After his time at Google, he led a team at Oracle for before recently recruited to join Facebook. After FMCG, his other main focus is the travel industry.


Yienyee Soh AVANA

Yienyee brings her experience and knowledge of Social Media and online small sellers’ community expertise to AVANA. Yienyee looks after AVANA’s communication channels between shoppers, sellers and partners. She handles the user marketing and analytics life cycle and helps plan for social marketing. As a psychology graduate, Yienyee has been building online communities her entire career with past experiences in Youthsays, A Shopaholic’s Den and managing clients’ social media brand and community with Digital Gaia. She was also the Head of Social Media for Ukuya, a startup social network and Social Media Project Director for Malaysian Service Providers Confederation.

EZBBQ is behind many of the successful mass-cookouts in Singapore, ranging from 150 to 2500 pax such as the annual 987FM BBQ Beach Bash at WaveHouse Sentosa, Urban Wheels by MediaCorp (400 pax), and the 1st-ever 560 pax “Pap’s BBQ By The Tracks” at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. EZBBQ is also well known for their “Grill-on-site specialties”.
